On Monday, October 24, 2022 nearly 190 job seekers attended the Expo to learn about available maritime, transportation, and logistics careers in the Baltimore area. This included a group of Baltimore City high school seniors who have been trained in relevant trades through career readiness pathways. Hundreds more community members registered for the event but were unable to attend. This high level of registration response demonstrates the need for these BPA events, both from the perspective of companies within the industry needing to hire as well as those looking to find meaningful job opportunities.
